Workshops

Each camper receives one featured workshop as part of registration and will register for it after signing up for camp. Some featured workshops require an additional materials fee, listed under each workshop. After registration closes on July 31, any remaining workshop seats will be available for campers to sign up for on a first come, first served basis.

  • Fused Glass Windchime

    Design and create a custom windchime using COE 90 glass learning the “hard-line” or “design-down” fused glass technique. Cut and fire your pieces, then assemble them into a finished windchime.

    Explore mosaic art through a sustainable lens using tempered glass in this hands-on workshop led by Sheldon Stehman. You’ll learn the fundamentals of design, cutting, and placement while working with unconventional materials, and finish with a completed piece ready for display.

  • Intro To Lead Came Construction

  • Intro to Glass Gilding

    Learn gilding on glass combined with screenprinting to create bold, high-contrast designs. Cover surface prep, gold leaf application, burnishing, and printing a stable black backing. Finish a small gilded piece.

    Learn traditional glass gilding techniques in this hands-on workshop. Cover surface prep, gold leaf application, burnishing, sealing, and painting. Finish a small gilded piece and take home instructions.
